JOIN PRS ON THEIR RETURN JOURNEY TO THE LEGENDARY LOCATION AND GET LOCKED IN WHEN DARKNESS FALLS…
AN EVENT HELD BY PRS ENTERTAINMENT LLC.
It’s been nine years since Ryan Buell/PRS last investigated the notoriously haunted West Virginia State Penitentiary. Between 2009-2010, PRS investigated the location three times and was featured on the “Paranormal State” episode, “Darkness Falls.” It quickly became known as being one of the most active locations in the country. Since then, other TV shows and groups have braved overnight stays and they all agree that it lives up to its reputation for being an intense experience.
PRS is treating this as an “investigation event.” Attendees and fans may sign up to take part of the investigation and no experience is required. There will be seasoned investigators on site. However, we do anticipate this place being active. This location does not have a lot of happy memories. It housed some of the worst criminals in the country. Attendees looking to learn and gain experience will get to take workshops on “aggressive hauntings” as well as energy/shielding. We will be investigating from dusk until dawn and attendees will be free to roam some of the most infamous areas the prison is known for including the Sugar Shack.
SOME HIGHLIGHTS ABOUT THIS EVENT

Investigation Workshops, Haunted Museum Tour & More.
As part of our investigation event, we will hold three key workshops:
Aggressive Hauntings - Ryan will offer a new workshop devoted to the subject of violent and aggressive hauntings, and what an investigator should be aware of when going in to a location known to have violent spirits.
Spiritual Protection - Ryan and Holly Faust will discuss various techniques and tools that investigators and mediums have used over the years.
History of WVP - Along with a formal tour of the location, we will also be uncovering the history of WVP on Thursday and Friday before our investigations.

All Night Investigation, Fear Walk and More.
We will be bringing our tech to attempt to document any activity we experience in the prison.
Attendees will be able to split into small groups and roam the prison. Be warned, it is a very large location. On the flip side, everyone will be able to have space to conduct their parts of the investigation.
We will be throwing our “Fear Walk” challenge (with basic training and due permission from WVP), where an investigator will walk down the Sugar Shack solo to see if they can experience anything.
We will be working together as a group to decide on a few experiments to conduct during our time there.

Special Option - Stay at the haunted Bellaire House for double the experience.
We will be investigating the West Virginia State Penitentiary Thursday, April 11th and Friday, April 12th. However, we have reserved the haunted Bellaire House (just ten minutes away) for select guests to stay as an alternative to a hotel. After the West Virginia State Penitentiary event ends, we will stay an extra night (Saturday, April 13th) to conduct an investigation at the Bellaire House. Those staying at Bellaire don’t need to wait until then, however, since they will be sleeping there on Thursday and when they return from WVP early Saturday morning. Staying at the Bellaire House is not required, but if you’d like to add it, please check out the Bellaire Add-On page here. Limited to 14 people.
