One of our most popular events/experiences returns! We are pleased to be kickstarting spring with a haunted evening at one of the most active locations in the Unites States. If you’ve ever wanted to experience the otherworldly, check out the Black Swan Inn or you just love the paranormal, our annual Black Swan Inn evenings are for you! Previous event attendees have heard voices and screams, seen apparitions and even felt touched.

Ryan Buell will start the evening off with a meet-and-greet (some refreshments will be provided), followed by an intimate talk where Ryan will share some of his experiences, most haunted cases, as well as some of his more recent cases. Ryan will also talk about his current work as a therapist and how he is using therapy to help people with paranormal experiences. Ryan will also detail the variety of experiences he has had at the Black Swan Inn. All attendees will also get to tour the grounds.

For those who wish to stay and investigate, we will begin by gathering in the spirit communication room to allow participants to introduce themselves to the spirits of the Black Swan Inn. Afterwards, the group will be led by Ryan to investigate some of the most active spots on the grounds.

Coming Alone or are you a novice? If you are interested in coming to the event, but are worried about coming alone and not knowing anyone, we would like to assure you that you will be in good hands. Many of our attendees start off coming solo but we work hard to make every event welcoming and inclusive! You will be surrounded by other like-minded and curious people, and Ryan and the PRS team make sure to take time to ensure everyone feels comfortable. This is one of the reasons why so many attendees come back to our events! If you’re also a novice, please know that Ryan will be at your side to make sure everyone feels safe. There are no stupid questions when it comes to the paranormal.

Meet-and-greet & tour:

The event will start around 6pm central time, just around dusk. People will be allowed to check in earlier. Around 6pm, we will start with a brief tour of the grounds. Afterwards, we will have a meet-and-greet with refreshments. Ryan and staff will host ice breakers and a couple activities as well!

Presentation:

The presentation will start around 7:30pm inside the Black Swan Inn. Ryan will give a special presentation on some of his most intense experiences, as well as his new work working with people with hauntings and experiences in the therapy setting. Ryan will also share some of his own experiences at the Black Swan Inn!

Investigation:

The investigation will start around 10:00pm. If there is enough interest, we may include a later time for those who are willing to power through the late night. We will begin by gathering in the spirit communication room to introduce ourselves to the spirits of the Black Swan Inn.

You are welcome to bring any equipment that you’d like. We will also have some on hand!

If you’ve never investigated before, that’s okay! If you have some experience investigating, then great! This investigation is for people of all levels of experience. This is a chance to do some serious investigating at an active location with Ryan and PRS!

TOUR OF THE GROUNDS

After check-in, we will begin by hosting a walking tour of the property. Attendees will get to check out inside of the main house as well as hear stories of some of the most famous activity that has occurred on the grounds.

6:45pm - 7:30pm

MEET-AND-GREET

Attendees and guests will gather inside the house to participate in brief festivities and get to know one another. Some refreshments will be served.

7:30pM - 9:30pm

PRESENTATION

Ryan will provide an overview of his experiences, some of his newer case work, as well as talking about his new endeavors as a therapist and working with people who are haunted to help people.

10:00pM - 12:30am

INVESTIGATION

For those who wish to sign up for the evening investigation, we will begin around 10:00pm and run for 2 1/2 hours. We will visit various parts of the property, using various different equipment and techniques.

I'm not an experienced paranormal investigator.  Is this for me?

You do not need to be an experienced investigator to enjoy this investigation event.  It is for novices and seasoned investigators, alike.

I'm coming by myself and I don't know anyone.  I'm afraid of not fitting in.

Everyone started out just like you.  But please know that you'll be amongst like-minded people, and it is VERY easy to make friends.  We are all sharing in an adventure together.  You will have a good time as long as you have a good attitude about you.

Are We Allowed To Bring Paranormal Investigation Equipment? Yes.  We encourage this.

Is alcohol permitted on site?

We politely ask people not to drink if they are planning to investigate. It usually leads to some pretty bad behavior. Altered states of mind and the paranormal do not mix.

Is drug use permitted on site?

Are you kidding? No.

What do I need to bring to be comfortable at this event?

Since this event will be in the south in the early Summer, we are anticipating warm weather. However, it is important to check the weather forecast as we get closer to the event. Most events are indoors.

Are the investigations going to be too intense for me?

It’s hard to answer that question. Everyone has their own personal boundary. Here’s what WON’T happen: you won’t be left alone against your will. If you a frightened, there will be experienced investigators who will be able to talk with you and if need be, walk you out if you feel unsafe. PRS will not allow for things to break out into hysterics.

With that being said, we are going into some of the most active places in America. Thankfully, they’ve been well investigated, so people typically know what to expect. A lot of activity has been reported in all the locations we are investigating (especially including the battlefields, even in the daytime). Above everything, we hope you enjoy yourself.

Is there an age limit?

All participants must be at least 18 years of age OR if under 18 years of age, must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian AND agree to the following terms:

A.Parent or legal guardian must notify PRS that he or she intends to accompany a minor on the field trip within 24 hours of the ticket purchase; AND

B.Parent or legal guardian must provide a valid, government-issued identification (i.e., driver’s license, passport, etc.) at the time of the field trip, which PRS, at its sole discretion, may copy; AND

C.Parent or legal guardian must sign an acknowledgment providing that he or she is granting permission for the minor to participate in the field trip activities; AND

D.Parent or legal guardian must sign the Anticipatory Waiver of and Release from Liability document on the minor’s behalf.

REFUNDS & TICKET TRANSFERS

What is your Refund Policy?

All tickets are non-refundable except as provided below.

A refund will be issued if PRS, in its sole discretion, cancels the event due to unforeseen circumstances. PRS is not responsible for any further expenses, losses, or liability incurred by the participant due to cancellation of the event.

A credit towards a future PRS event in the amount of the ticket value will be issued if the event is postponed due to unforeseen circumstances OR on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of PRS if the participant is unable to attend an event due to an unforeseen illness or family emergency. Under any of the above circumstances, PRS shall issue a voucher which can be redeemed as credit towards a future PRS event. PRS reserves the right to cancel this policy at any time without advance notice. PRS is not responsible for any further expenses, losses, or liability incurred by the participant due to postponement of the field trip or the participant’s inability to attend the event.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Tickets are only transferable to another participant if the following conditions are met:

1.The original ticket purchaser notifies PRS within 24 hours of the transfer of the name and contact information of the transferee; AND

2.PRS, in its sole discretion, approves the transferee to participate in writing; AND

3.The transferee signs the Anticipatory Waiver of and Release from Liability document; AND

4.The transferee accepts the within terms.

Failure to follow the above conditions relating to transferability renders the ticket voidable.
