Join us for a first-of-its kind event. Where paranormal investigators, intuitives and mental health practitioners can explore the unknown - together!

AN EVENT HELD BY PRSE LLC.

Join us for a truly one-of-a-kind experience as we host Spirits In Session, a groundbreaking conference designed to explore the powerful intersection between the paranormal, psychic phenomena, and psychotherapy. Set inside the iconic—and famously haunted—Menger Hotel in downtown San Antonio, this special gathering brings together leading voices from the world of the supernatural and trained therapists to create a safe, educational, and transformative space for all.

This immersive day event includes a powerful lineup of speakers, including Nick and Tessa Groff (Ghost Adventures, Paranormal Lockdown, Live! With the Otherside), Ryan Buell (A&E’s Paranormal State, licensed therapist), and Dr. Darin Wallis (licensed social worker and marriage/family therapist), as they explore topics ranging from psychic development and paranormal investigation to spiritual trauma and paranormal-informed therapy. Whether you're a paranormal investigator, mental health professional, a spiritual intuitive—or someone who has experienced things you can't explain—this event is for you.

Lecture Pass: Admittance into all lectures on Saturday, starting from 10am until 5pm, followed by a meet-and-greet for photos and autographs.

Weekend Pass: Includes a late evening meet-and-greet on Friday at the Menger, followed by all day Saturday events, including a ghost hunt at the Black Swan Inn.

Ryan Buell: Ryan is best known for starring in - and producing - the A&E show, “Paranormal State.” Having investigated for over 25 years, Ryan will share his journey into the unknown. Recently, Ryan became a fully licensed therapist, and will talk about integrating therapy into paranormal investigations.

Frequently Asked Questions

email us at PRSHAUNTEDEVENTS@GMAIL.COM for questions

I'm coming by myself and I don't know anyone.  I'm afraid of not fitting in.

Everyone started out just like you.  But please know that you'll be amongst like-minded people, and it is VERY easy to make friends.  We are all sharing in an adventure together.  You will have a good time as long as you have a good attitude about you.

Are We Allowed To Bring Paranormal Investigation Equipment? Yes.  We encourage this.

Is this event only for therapists or psychologists?

NO! This event is for everyone: paranormal enthusiasts, investigators, psychics AND mental health professionals. This event is about the paranormal experience and how it can impact us and others.

Alcohol/Substance policy:

We are vehemently against alcohol or any mind-altering substance intake prior to, or during, an investigation. We have a strict policy that you cannot drink prior to or leading up to the investigation. If you are suspected to have had alcohol or under the influence of alcohol (or any other substance), you will not be allowed to investigate and you will NOT be given a refund.

Will I be able to take pictures with the speakers?

Absolutely, we set up time to ensure everyone is able to get a picture.

Are the investigations going to be too intense for me?

It’s hard to answer that question. Everyone has their own personal boundary. Here’s what WON’T happen: you won’t be left alone against your will. If you a frightened, there will be experienced investigators who will be able to talk with you and if need be, walk you out if you feel unsafe. PRS will not allow for things to break out into hysterics.

With that being said, we are going into some of the most active places in America. Thankfully, they’ve been well investigated, so people typically know what to expect. A lot of activity has been reported in all the locations we are investigating. Above everything, we hope you enjoy yourself.
